Technical issues may have delayed direct deposits

Technical issues delayed the submission of your electronic bank deposit for the Feb. 1, 2013 pay date.  As explained below, this delay might result in your pay not being immediately available to you tomorrow morning, Feb. 1. 

Normally, the UNT System Business Service Center (BSC) processes the direct deposits 48 hours in advance to ensure the funds are available the morning of the pay date.  In this case, we were unable to do so and the direct deposit processed on Thursday evening (1/31/13).

The deposit will be made available to your financial institution on Friday morning (2/1/13).

Depending on your financial institution’s business practice, your deposit may be credited to your account early Friday morning or later in the day. We encourage you to review your account balance before completing any transactions to avoid potential insufficient fund charges and to review any pre-established automated drafts that will be made on the first day of the month.

This delay does not affect individuals who receive paper checks.

We understand this may be a personal inconvenience and apologize for the delay.
