UNT brand marks are now officially registered

Registered trademark, UNT symbolThe U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has officially registered the name University of North Texas and our brand theme line - "A green light to greatness." - to UNT.

Registration was established through the work of University Relations Communications and Marketing in conjunction with the UNT System’s Office of General Counsel.

Now the theme line, UNT and University of North Texas are all officially registered exclusively to the UNT System and UNT.

Also, please remember the UNT lettermark and wordmark must always appear in our green (PMS 356), on our green or in the new brand campaign theme art. The only exception is black and white executions, in which the marks may appear in black or white. If you will be printing with one color, choose UNT green, because our mark may not appear as white reversed out of any color other than black or our green.
