Dear faculty and staff,

Our community is looking forward to another great year in 2013, building on the momentum of our four bold goals. These goals are uniting our UNT community around our all-important mission to serve our students in the best way possible. It's giving many of us a new sense of pride in our work.

Pride also comes from knowing the different ways that UNT stands out and sharing our points of pride with others. To help with this, you recently received a new card featuring UNT pride facts, which is also in the pdf attachment below.

We all know how great UNT is and how committed we are to our students. Let's help others get that message, too. As faculty and staff members, we are UNT's best ambassadors, and the pride card will be a great aid in knowing what to share with others about our university.

There are many events this spring to celebrate and honor our campus community. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us.

• Staff Appreciation Week: March 25-29 (more information forthcoming)
• President's Staff Sack Lunch: noon to 1 p.m. March 26 in the Silver Eagle Suite, University Union (to honor Staff Contribution Award Winners)
• Honors Day: 3 p.m. April 5 in the Murchison Performing Arts Center
• University Day: 11 a.m. April 12 at the Library Mall 
• Flight Memorial: noon to 1 p.m. April 17 at Shrader Pavilion
• President’s Staff Sack Lunch: noon to 1 p.m. May 14 in the Silver Eagle Suite, University Union
