Proposals sought for grants from international development fund

UNT-International is accepting proposals for the Charn Uswachoke International Development Fund Grants until March 15.

Charn Uswachoke

A gift from Thai alumnus Charn Uswachoke, right, has endowed a fund to promote international activities at the university. Proceeds from the endowment will be used to support faculty projects and activities that have a significant global dimension and which enhance international capabilities and the international mission at UNT.

Proposed activities that fall under any of the following categories will be given consideration for the fund, including:

  • Hosting high-impact visiting scholars
  • Catalyzing study abroad
  • Creating or enhancing international research collaborations
  • Creating innovative curriculum with international foci
  • Increasing UNT’s linkages with top tier international partners

Awards are made by the Office of the Provost and administered by UNT-International.
