Funding forum to feature international research representatives

The Global Research Funding Forum on Feb. 4-5 will provide opportunities for UNT faculty, staff and graduate students to interact with U.S. and international funding agency representatives.

Panels, keynote speeches and a global funding exhibit will provide information to improve student and scholar research proposals and clarify research priorities. There also will be a display of entries in the Graduate Student Global Research Competition. 

Registration is open now at the conference site. Fees are:

  • Forum, no lunches - free for faculty and graduate students
  • Forum, including lunches - $50 for faculty
  • Forum, including lunches - $12.50 for graduate students

Departments and faculty are encouraged to sponsor student registrations; instructions are at the registration site.  The forum is co-sponsored by UNT-International, Toulouse Graduate School and the Office of Research and Economic Development

Distinguished speakers will include Donald Dingwell, European Research Council; David Stonner, National Science Foundation, and numerous chief research officers from U.S. universities. 250 attendees are expected from over 30 countries.
