The program will use the funds from the Texas Education Agency to train South Texas teachers how to incorporate reading and writing into all subjects.

Two education students earn national honors from Kappa Delta Pi

Aston Thompson, a graduate who was an officer for the UNT chapter, was cited for displaying the ideals of the organization. Julie Williams, who is in the doctoral program, earned a scholarship for students in curriculum and instruction.
