Jim J. Bezdek, professor emeritus of education

Bezdek taught higher education for nearly 30 years. He and his wife Rose were supporters of the College of Music and established The Czech Educational Foundation of Texas Dr. Jim J. and Rose A. Bezdek Endowment Fund Celebrating Czech Music and Culture.

Center studies alternative treatments aimed at helping kids with autism

The Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services awarded $50,000 to UNT's Kristin Farmer Autism Center for a pilot program that is aimed at filling the gap in board certified behavior analysts.

UNT hosts sixth Conference on Education and Culture

The May 1 event, co-sponsored by the Secretariat of Education of Jalisco and the Consul General of Mexico in Dallas, will cover the interculturalism and points of contact across cultures. Register by April 15 for $50.
